I like to experiment in cooking and would like to try to make something new. I am looking for a website that will give me some good recipes that I can try.
It seems that most of you are fans of allrecipes.com. I will try this site and see what I can find.
Thanks!
Here are a few of my favorite sites:
www.epicurean.com
www.chefs.com
www.barilla.com
www.foodnetwork.com
Now you know The Food Network has Emiril, Paula Dean, Giana, Rachel Ray, The Barefoot Contessa, EVERYBODY! You'll go nuts on this site. Be careful, you might get overwhelmed, lol.

Me and my friend are cooking italian sausages on the barbeque but we don't know if they're fully cooked. They're orangeish inside. How do we know when they're done?
The best way is to put them into boiling water for about 15 min. then put on to the barbecue poking a few holes in each one with a folk and keep turning them on a low flame for about 10 to 15 min. You can cut a piece off and then test it to make sure it's done.

I'm sick of searching through endless unorganized websites for recipes, which turn out to have expensive or unatainable ingredients anyway, plus it's a hot, muggy, irritable day.
So, do you know of any good "light" summertime meals that can be made with spinach? I have sliced deli ham, and some frozen chicken.
Nothing too extravagant, as I don't want to spend a fortune on groceries, or hours in the kitchen, but I am going to the store in a little while… so any suggestions for a simple snack or meal would be helpful.
Thanks a bunch
P.S. I'd prefer not to turn on the oven today… its hot enough in here. Unless the recipe is REALLY good
Stove-top recipes are fine. Cook-less recipes - even better.
Thanks to all who answered. If I could, I would choose more than one best. I didn't use any of your recipes, but you gave me an idea of how and what to use with spinach. It was my first time using it, and I was basically just asking what goes.
I cobbled up a really tasty snack with your ideas and inspirations, and thought the least I could do is share it with you.
I fried up a few pieces of bacon. Sauteed onion and spinach til wilty, added tomato and seasonings and sauteed about 30 seconds longer. Then added minced garlic, turned off the heat and let it sit on the burner to keep warm while I prepared the rest of the meal.
I spread cheddar and mozzarella cheese on a tortilla and warmed until the cheese melted (don't let the tortilla get crispy). Then placed the spinach mixture and two slices of bacon on top of the cheese. Wrapped it up, had a dollop of cottage cheese on the side, and … YUM.
Quick, easy, and tasty. I think I'll use spinach more often.
Here's a good one that's quick and easy. Take Uncle Bens 90 sec long grain and wild rice mix and cook as directed in the microwave. Saute the spinach with a little onion, garlic and butter, salt and pepper. When the spinach is wilted mix it with the rice and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese. It's quick and delish.
