what are some simple, quick, healthy, virtually no cooking involved meal ideas?

posted in healthy cooking |

something as simple and healthy as tuna salad (made with mayo, apples, celery) on top of mixed greens with a slice of whole grain bread. This is a filling and healthy meal yet it takes barely any work to make. got any other ideas similar to this? i’m not necessarily looking for something that’s raw when i say "no cooking", just something easy.

i had taco salad for lunch, that i made. just put some refried beans and seasoned ground beef on a salad with cheese, with salsa and sour cream.

Buy a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken from the grocery story. Shred it up and serve over salad greens with chopped nuts and dried cranberries.

i would recommend Salad with Sundried tomatoes and Smoked Salmon with extra virgin olive oil dressing. Just a pinch of salt, dash of mix herbs (your choice), black pepper and squeeze of half lemon. And you can have it with sandwiched with whole grain bread. Yummy!!

Pretty much any kind of sandwich fits that criteria- whether it’s cold cuts, or peanut butter and jelly. You can make egg salad w/boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs take very little cooking…Any kind of salad also.

Humous with lots of things to dip in it like carrots, breadsticks, celery, tomatoes and whatever else.

Or if your looking for something more filling what about a stirfry,
just cook some noodles and fry some veg and tofu put them together with some soy sauce and your done.
